- Local Watch History & Bookmarks: Saved locally in Android Jetpack DataStore / SQLite storage on your device for fast offline access.
3 How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is strictly utilized for the following purposes:
- Service Delivery: Providing fast, buffer-free anime streaming, season catalog browsing, and multi-language subtitle tracks.
- App Updates & Push Notifications: Delivering notifications for new episode releases, app version updates, and important announcements.
- Account Maintenance: Authenticating user logins, managing bookmarks, comment moderation, and password recovery.
- Security & Abuse Prevention: Preventing DDoS attacks, brute-force login attempts, automated spam bots, and malicious scraping.

6 User Rights & Account Deletion
You retain full ownership and control over your personal data:
- Access & Export: You can view your watch history, bookmarked shows, and profile details anytime in the app settings.
- Local Data Clearance: You can clear all cached video segments, watch progress, and search history directly via Settings > Clear Cache in the app.
- Account & Data Deletion: You have the right to request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated comments. You can delete your account instantly via our Delete Account Portal, in-app via Settings > Manage Profile > Delete Account, or by emailing an1dotca@gmail.com.
7 Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
RareAnime is designed for general audiences aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us immediately, and we will promptly purge such data from our databases.
